Casa Terra is especially suitable as an artist’s or writer’s retreat, year-round, and has been used as such by a number of guests during the off-season. It’s quiet and private, and has its own dedicated internet connection and a new heating and air conditioning system. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a four point gas cooker, an oven and a microwave, and is fully equipped with utensils. There is also a washing machine, and an apartment manager to answer any of your questions at all times.
With a unique sense of style, terracotta floors, exposed beams, and rockface walls, Casa Terra sits directly in front of the main garden that looks out over the hillside, the nature reserve, and down towards the sea. It’s full of quirk and character, many small works of art and sculpture, old copper pots and ceramic jars, an antique hanging clock and other artifacts. Books, PhD’s, and newspaper articles have been worked on here, and because one of us is a writer we’re particularly proud to offer this apartment as a retreat. This is a single-occupant property, which means no other guests and no shared facilities; just the privacy and solitude you need to work.
If you are interested, please contact us directly with the email form on the Contact page. Please mention the retreat in the subject line. We’re happy to offer steep discounts October-May, and to negotiate a special price for long term rentals of a month or more. We’ll also make adjustments to the usual provision of bedding, linen and utensils, and support you throughout your stay.
