Sunset at Ultima Spiaggia. One of the many beautiful beaches just a short drive from Casa Capalbio. One of our favorites; a wonderful restaurant on the beach, a great bar, umbrella and sunbed hire, showers, bathrooms, changing rooms, and a large free beach. Particularly enchanting and rustic because it’s all built in old wood bleached and worn by the sea.

Ultima Spiaggia is at the Chiarone turnoff on the highway ten minutes south of Capalbio Scalo. The equally fine Dogana beach is just next to it. They share a large parking area just behind the beach. Dogana has a stylish beachside restaurant and bar built in a converted farmhouse, offers the same amenities, and the same miles of free beach stretching to the south. Choose your allegiance! Or swap between the two as the mood takes you.
