Casa Blu is still available for weeks at the beginning and end of July, and it’s the perfect time to go to the beach. The long sandy beaches of the coast are only ten minutes away, stretching from the beach and nature reserve of Feneglia all the way down to Montalto, all with clear warm water, golden sand, and lovely cafes with showers, toilets, and lots of parking.

Then there are the small rocky coves of the fabulous Argentario or Talamone, with clear, fresh water, and a few rustic cafes on the stones just a short steep walk down from the spectacular Strada Panoramica that circles the peninsular. And to the north are the wild and secluded beaches of the beautiful Maremma National Park, dotted with driftwood, and no people or amenities at all…
