There are so many lovely sandy beaches all the way along the coast and only a few minutes drive from your apartment in Capalbio. From Montalto in the south all the way up to Feniglia there are numerous establishments with cheap or free parking just behind the dunes, lovely cafes, bathrooms and showers, umbrella hire if you need it, soft golden sand, and clear fresh water.

If you like rocks, there are the stony coves and deep blue water of the Argentario and north in Talamone, but the sandy beaches are easy and close, there’s lots of amenities, doggos are welcome, and you can pick your favorite or try a different one each day. Our own personal favorites are Penultima at Ultima Spiaggia in Chiarone, Feniglia, and Carmen Bay in Macchiatonda.
