The beach at Feniglia at sunset, looking north along the stretch of tombolo toward the Argentario peninsula. There’s ample paid parking on the Ansedonia side and a few lovely cafes and restaurants at the beginning part of the beach. La Capannuccia has great pasta, and Il Tempio is just too cool. And then it’s just miles of wonderful sand, water, dunes, and forest.
Walk through the pine forest path to the first beach turn off at the first kilometer, called Varco 1, and the beach here is yours. Take an umbrella because there’s no rental place, and bring all the snacks and drinks you need if you don’t want to have to walk back along the beach to a cafe.
