The beautiful forest path through the nature reserve in Feniglia, which runs the entire length of the tombolo that runs from Ansedonia all the way to Argentario. It’s a gorgeous woodland area of forest and coastal marshes, rich in wildlife, with little pathways that cross over to the beach every kilometer.
Above the soft and sandy pine needle floor tower large pine, oak, and ash trees, and it’s home to wildlife including deer, foxes, badgers, woodpeckers, blackbirds, herons, and cuckoos. Declared a nature reserve in 1971, the park is one of the prettiest areas of the Maremma.
