The tiny town of Sant&#8217;Angelo di Roccalvecce to the east of Lago di Bolsena is an artistic marvel, where the walls and facades of the village&#8217;s buildings have been lovingly covered with giant, colorful murals.<\/p>\n<p>At risk of being abandoned, the town set up a cultural association in 2016 and turned itself over to an all-female team of painters and street artists whose work features fairy tales, legends and fantasy, plus numerous bas-reliefs, mosaics, sculptures, shrines, and installations.
