The old medieval centre is gorgeous, with numerous little squares, a few lovely cafes, artisan shops, and little streets and alleyways to explore and get lost in&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Casa Blu and Casa Terra are just outside the city walls on the hill looking down and out over the nature reserve towards the sea. Capalbio is a terrific base to explore the region, with all the amenities and shops you might need to plan an extended stay in the off season, including a couple of general food stores, a bakery, butcher, delicatessen, chemist, bank, and newsagent.
