It features a number of 16th Century frescos attributed to Pinturicchio and a new 18th Century effigy of the Madonna to keep everybody happy. <\/p>\n<p>On one side of the square is the old mill, Il Frantoio, one of the coolest places to hang out in Capalbio; Its a cultural center and exhibition space upstairs, a terrific bar at the front, and an excellent (if expensive) restaurant at the back. Diagonally opposite are two excellent cafe\/restaurants; the more informal Il Beverello, run by old friends of ours, and L&#8217;Angolo di Capalbio.
