A free jazz concert on the sand a few meters from the water at Ultima Spiaggia, one of our favorite beaches on the coast. This was too much fun for us to not post about it. Ultima has an excellent restaurant, a cool cafe, miles of free beach, showers, bathrooms, umbrella and sunbed hire, and fabulous white sand and clear water.

The seasons are changing, obviously, but September is our favorite time of year in Capalbio. If you’re looking for a last minute getaway, to explore the region and soak up the last of the fresh warm air, now’s the time. We have a number of regular guests at this time of year, some bring their touring bikes, some their hiking boots, others their books and towels. What will you bring?
