September is a terrific time to stay in Capalbio; the water is the same warm temperature, the heat is milder, the beaches are quiet and clean, and the evenings are beautiful and fresh. It’s our secret favorite time of year, in some ways, so don’t discount it if you think that high summer is the “only” time to visit Capalbio.

There are miles of beach coastline to explore between Feneglia and Montalto, and it’s a perfect place for those of you looking for a base for your touring bike holiday of the area – it’s close to the coast, the Argentario, the Maremma National Park, and the hills, forest, and wild fields of the interior.
