Casa Blu is free and available from 30 August onward at a considerable discount, and is a perfect late summer apartment for familes (or parents needing to recover!). It sleeps five in two bedrooms and has a large living room and kitchen facing the sun, free internet, airconditioning, private parking, a large, private bamboo covered patio, and all the kitchen and cooking utensils, bedding, and towels you might need.

September is a terrific time to stay in Capalbio; the water is the same warm temperature, the heat is milder, the beaches are quiet and clean, and the evenings are beautiful and fresh. It’s our secret favorite time of year, in some ways, so don’t discount it if you think that high summer is the “only” time to visit Capalbio.
