The rocky coastline of Argentario features numerous little bays and rocky coves accessible by boat or the road around the coastline between Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole.

There are a number of boat rental places in both towns, and it’s an adventurous change from the long sandy beaches on the isthmus on Giannella or Feniglia between Argentario and the mainland, or the miles of beaches south of Orbetello.

Cala del Gesso (pictured here), Cala del Bove, Acqua Dolce, Cannelle, Spiaggia Lunga, and Cala Piccola are just a few of the beautiful inlets and beaches to choose from. They’re not crowded, the water is crystal clear, and the coastline is gorgeous.
