The stretch of coast just past Porto Ercole on Argentario is one of the prettiest and most enchanting areas of the promotory, is only 15 minutes drive past Orbetello, and has a string of small, gorgeous, rocky beaches, including L’Acqua Dolce, Spiaggia Lunga, Piletta, and Le Viste (pictured here).

They are all a short if steep walk from the main road, there’s just enough parking, some lovely bars overlooking the sea, and the water and coastline vegetation is just beautiful. Le Viste also has a lovely grass covered paid beach called Riva del Marchese, with arffordable umbrella and sunbed hire, and great bar, and free showers for everyone!
